Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Kearney, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Kearney, Nebraska, 68845! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred. Ability to float first to PCU for a Medical Surgical Unit assignment unless telemetry trained. Description: This position involves working in a medical surgical unit. The shift schedule is 0600-1830 or 1800-0630. Every other weekend is required. Float to PCU assignments is expected unless telemetry trained. The unit contains 23 beds, with a maximum patient ratio of 1:6. Day shifts from Monday to Friday will have a patient ratio of 1:5. Holiday requirements may apply, typically from May to September and November to January, with a maximum of 1 holiday off during the contract. The charting system used in this position is EPIC.
