Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Promote
children and families' progress across the standards and as
described in the Head Start Parent, Family, and Community
Engagement Framework to build respectful, culturally responsive,
and trusting relationships with families. Provide assistance and
support to the families to ensure all state and federal standards
are met. Attain knowledge of resources available in the community,
and build and strengthen partnerships within community entities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implement curriculum in accordance with
guidelines/training Work with families to identify and set goals.
Monitor progress and follow up on all referrals throughout the
length of the program Complete minimum monthly contact via home
visits and phone contacts in accordance with program options
Document child/family recruitment efforts Participate in all
required meetings & trainings Adhere to all CNCAP-related policies
and procedures Promote the program and agency in a positive and
professional manner QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or GED
required Valid driver's license 1-3 years experience of working
with children/families SKILLS & ABILITIES Problem-solving skills
Communication skills Computer skills Excellent time-management and
organizational skills Demonstrated ability to work with others
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7 am - 5 pm REPORTS TO: Teacher/Center
Specialist JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week PAY: $14.88 -
$16.54/hour (depending on qualifications) BENEFITS: Health, Dental,
