and build, a better world. We are seeking a Financial Analyst at
our Grand Island, NE manufacturing plant. Reporting to the site
Plant Controller, this role will have responsibility for the budget
and forecasting process, material, labor and overhead variance
reporting, kaizen event project savings tracking, and upholding all
internal controls and audit requirements. If you have a reputation
for your strong organizational skills and consistently meeting your
ability to prioritize/meet deadlines, we want to hear from you.
Annual compensation range is $59,000 - $85,000 (actual salaries
will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill,
experience and qualification for the role). This is a 5 day a week
on-site position at the Grand Island, NE facility. Support plant
budget and forecast process, working closely with department
managers on annual target setting.Provide input into weekly
variance reporting and monthly projections versus target.Represent
Finance on plant kaizen events, clearly identifying target KPIs to
kick off project as well as signing off on improvements against
those KPIs at project end.Meet month-end reporting requirements,
including preparing and recording specific journal entries for
monthly closing.Prepare and provide analysis of monthly
departmental budget variances, working closely with department
owners on variance explanation and plans to ensure metric
alignment.Key contact for internal and external auditors for SOX
controls, monthly account reconciliations and any other audit scope
as needed.Position will be responsible for the accuracy and timely
reporting of all internal and external reporting requirements as
well as local management reporting.Serve as Finance representative
for Controller as needed. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or
Finance required.3+ years professional work experience in
Accounting or Finance role including analyzing, consolidating and
interpreting financial data. Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sox
controls.Prefered prior Manufacturing industry experience
