Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Kearney, NE
Pay: $21.70 per hour
Schedule: 2:30pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday), occasional OT

Machine Operator Job Summary:
A manufacturing facility in Kearney, NE is currently hiring Machine Operators for 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate and maintain production machinery used to manufacture high-quality engine components for global automotive customers.

Key Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

• Set up and operate multiple machines to meet quality and production standards
• Monitor machinery, inspect parts, and ensure machines are running to specifications
• Perform visual checks and use gauges to verify dimensions
• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and machine parameters
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make adjustments as needed
• Assist in tooling changes and basic machine maintenance
• Accurately complete required paperwork, data logs, and quality control charts Qualifications needed for Machine Operator:
  • Experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and process sheets
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, reaching, standing, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a warm environment and wearing required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel/composite toe shoes)
