With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.**Responsibilities**1. _Conducts casefinding to maintain a complete cancer registry database._2. _Performs abstracting activities by efficiently and accurately abstracting cancer registry data._3. _Conducts data analysis and reporting by collecting, calculating, analyzing, interpreting and presenting numerical data related to cancer occurence, management and outcomes._4. _Performs registry data quality assurance and auditing to ensure accurate, consistent and complete data._5. _Performs follow-up activities to ensure compliance with Commission on Cancer requirements._6. _Supports Tumor Board/Case Conference activities and activities of the Cancer Committee to maintain Commission on Cancer accreditation._7. _Assists in operations of the registry which may include training and developing staff, creating and updating policies and procedures, attending meetings and participating on committees and participating in educational activities._8. _Other duties as assigned._**Qualifications**Minimum of an Associates of Applied Science (AAS). Bachelors Degree preferredCertification by the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) is required or certification must be obtained within 2 years of date of hire.
