SUMMARY: Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts
and accessories. In addition, performs in store customer service,
overall organizational promotions, and ordering and stocking
duties. The Parts Person is given authority to sell and order
parts, receive ROA’s, and handle parts returns under the current
store policy. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Responsibilities and
duties of the Parts Specialist consist of but are not limited to
the following: · Greet customers promptly, and fill parts request.
· To contact technicians and solicit parts needs, record them on
work orders, and deliver them to technicians in a timely manner. ·
Check and put away stock orders and special ordered parts. · Order
parts as needed for customer’s invoices and tech RO’s. · Arrange
and fill displays. Keep the parts area and front show room clean. ·
Update prices on parts as they are received. · Pull, tag, and box
all parts returns. · Monitor phone communications. · Unload
incoming parts trucks. · Help in inventory. · Keep parts receiving
room neat and clean. · Solicit parts business especially preseason
and in season specials. · Perform other duties assigned by Parts
Manager.
