Job Description:
US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor in America, is
looking for a dedicated Fleet and Facilities Manager to oversee the
management and operations of our vehicle fleet and physical
facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient
distribution of over 350,000 products to our expansive network of
customers nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a robust
background in facilities management, with a particular focus on
fleet operation in a compliance-driven environment. This position
blends tactical oversight with strategic planning, ensuring all
resources are optimally utilized while upholding safety and
environmental standards. Develop and execute maintenance schedules
for all transportation and facilities equipment. Ensure compliance
with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle
operations and building safety. Manage budgeting for the
maintenance and procurement of fleet and facility operations.
Optimize fleet utilization and performance through strategic
routing and scheduling. Collaborate with other departments to align
facilities management with overall operational goals. Lead
sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact of
fleet operations and facility maintenance. Oversee a team of
maintenance technicians, facility staff, and external contractors.
Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficiency with fleet
management software Knowledge of regulatory compliance pertaining
to transportation and facilities Budget management and cost
optimization Solid communication and interpersonal skills
