Description Join a mission-driven team dedicated to nourishing
children and supporting early childhood education. As a Food
Service Assistant, you will help prepare, serve, and clean up meals
in accordance with USDA and CACFP guidelines. This is an essential
role in a collaborative environment supporting the health and
nutrition of young children in Early Head Start and Head Start
programs. Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch,
and snacks to classrooms • Follow USDA meal requirements and manage
allergy/food restrictions • Clean and sanitize kitchen tools and
prep areas per safety regulations • Label, store, and dispose of
food properly • Assist with accurate food service documentation for
CACFP Qualifications and Requirements: • High School diploma or GED
required • One year of food service experience preferred • Current
Food Handlers Permit required • Ability to read, write, and
communicate effectively in English • Strong teamwork,

base salary range for this position is $18.56/hr excluding
