Scope of Practice Broad-spectrum general urology including: Kidney stone management Urologic oncology cases appropriate to facility Incontinence and voiding dysfunction Erectile dysfunction Urinary tract infections Procedural Capabilities: Cystoscopies and office-based procedures supported Standard OR cases supported Not Available: Prostate MRI biopsy capability ESWL Facility Overview Critical access hospital serving a regional rural population Established referral base with consistent demand for urology services Integrated clinic and surgical services Efficient, low-friction operational environment This is a community-dependent program where the urologist plays a key role in access to care. Support Structure Dedicated clinic nurse Medical Assistant support OR staff familiar with urology workflows No competing providers—true independent practice model.
