Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health. Additional Details: Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Eligibility as current/previous employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Submission limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. - RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions. - Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. - Open-book pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation on skills learned. All necessary resources are provided. Must receive 90% to pass or the contract will be terminated. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Required Skills/Experience: - Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Shift & Scheduling: - Self scheduling with cyclic rotation. - Every other weekend. - Holiday rotation with permanent staff. - If placed on call and then called back in, clinician has 30 minutes to arrive. - Blocked scheduling is generally not approved unless it is weekends only. Floating Requirements: - Float to MedSurg, rehab, or PCU taking MedSurg acuity. Unit/Facility Details: RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. 7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
