MRI Tech Location: Kearney, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,143 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 13 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Ability to perform CT, X-ray (including OR), and MRI. - CT and X-ray certifications are required. - MRI certification is optional but requires at least 2 years of experience. Description: The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, beginning Thursday evening through the following Wednesday evening. The shifts are as follows: Thursday 1830-0600, Friday 1830-0600, Saturday 1830-0600, Sunday 1930-0600, Monday 1930-0600, and Tuesday 1930-0600. CT and X-ray coverage are necessary to support Level II trauma services. MRI is needed on a limited basis for Heads and Spines to support Neurosurgeons. There are no on-call expectations for this position. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove artificial nails will result in termination of the contract. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
