MRI Tech Location: Kearney, NE Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,954 to $2,154 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or appropriate modality. State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Nebraska. BLS (AHA) certification required. Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist. Ability to perform CT and X-ray, including operating in the OR environment; CT and X-ray certifications required. MRI certification is preferred but optional if candidate has at least 2 years of MRI experience. Experience using EPIC charting system preferred. Willingness and ability to work a schedule that supports Level II trauma, including CT and X-ray coverage and limited MRI for heads and spines. Drivers license required at submittal to confirm compliance with the 50-mile radius rule. Compliance with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas. Candidates must not be currently employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. Preferred: prior experience supporting Level II trauma centers and neurosurgical MRI protocols. Assignment Details: Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Nights. Shift hours: Nights 1800-0600. Shift pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off. Typical workweek begins Thursday evening through the following Wednesday evening. Typical schedule: Thursday 1830–0600, Friday 1830–0600, Saturday 1830–0600, Sunday 1930–0600, Monday 1930–0600, Tuesday 1930–0600, Wednesday 1930–0600. Orientation hours: 12 hours. Guaranteed hours: 38 hours per week. Cancellation policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks. Floating: Candidate must be able to provide CT and X-ray coverage as needed to support the trauma service. No call expectations for these staff. Radius rule: Candidates must reside within 50 miles as determined by driver’s license at submittal.
