registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care
in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shifts,
delivering attentive and patient-focused treatment to individuals
requiring stepdown care. This contract position offers a rewarding
opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients conditions,
implementing appropriate nursing interventions Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans
Administer medications and treatments according to established
protocols Utilize clinical skills specific to stepdown and
progressive care units Maintain accurate patient documentation and
communicate changes effectively Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience
in a Progressive Care Unit or similar acute care setting
Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of
Health Stroke Scale) Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and
communication skills Ability to work effectively during night
shifts in a fast-paced environment Location:Holdrege, Nebraska is a
