Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU – RN Contract Unit Details - Department: Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU - Beds: 16 - Ratios: 1:2 (occasionally 1:1) - Charge Nurse: Yes (takes assignment) - Tech Ratio: 1:10 Certifications Required - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS ??? Patient Population - Young adults to geriatrics - Sepsis - STEMI - Stroke - Neurosurgery (crani recovery) - COVID - Renal failure - Respiratory failure / COPD - Cancer - DKA Skills & Equipment Experience with: - ICP monitoring - Balloon pump (occasional) - CRRT - Impella - EVDs - Lumbar drains - Gaymar Hypothermia - Camino Neuro Monitoring - Arrow Balloon Pump ? RNs required to titrate drips Common Drips: - Sedation - Paralytics - Pressors - Antihypertensives - Heparin - Insulin ? RNs must read & interpret their own tele strips ?
