Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown / PCU Tele unit in an acute care hospital. The RN will care for higher acuity patients including telemetry and post-Cath Lab patients while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent outcomes. Unit Details Unit: PCU Tele (Stepdown) Care Setting: Acute Care Beds: 21 Ratio: 1:4 Trauma Level: 3 Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in Stepdown / PCU Tele Monitor cardiac telemetry and patient status Care for post-Cath Lab patients Administer medications and IV therapy Implement and update care plans Document in EPIC Float to Med Surg when needed and ICU for PCU patient status Requirements Active RN license (NE or Compact) Minimum 2 years PCU / Tele experience Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Strong acute care and telemetry skills Job Details Location: Kearney, NE Facility: Kearney Regional Medical Center Pay: $62/hr Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week Start Date: 03/23 Schedule Notes OT billed after 48 hrs/week Weekend: Every other (if needed) First to float Possible 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks Orientation: 12 hours Company Description We have been in the industry for over 30 years, understand the challenges and felt the need to offer a higher service than the rest!
