Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dentist to join our
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Columbus, Nebraska,
where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care
for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work
collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and

work matters Your Role: Provide complete dental care to patients to
include preventive care, education, and required dental treatment
Record patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patient’s
dental record Educate patients in the use of appropriate
prophylactic dental care, hygiene, and flossing techniques
Participate in the decision-making processes concerning the
delivery of dental health services provided by the health center
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health
outcomes Participate in the dental department’s processes for
quality measures and other data as required for local, state, and
federal reporting What We Are Looking For: Graduate of an
accredited school of dentistry with an unrestricted license to
practice dentistry in the state of Nebraska Current DEA license
required Knowledge of public health principles and practices
Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to
medically under-served individuals in a public health setting
Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships Current
certificate in BLS Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred but not
required; if not bilingual, must have the ability to work with an
