Title: RN (Registered Nurse), ICU City/State: Kearney, Nebraska
Shift: 12 Hour Days, Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length:
12.00-3,91 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The RN in the
ICU will provide specialized care for patients with severe and
life-threatening illnesses, adhering to unit-specific policies and
procedures. Responsibilities: Provide care for patients with
trauma, cardiac conditions, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis,
post-stent, pacemaker placements, stroke, vascular cases, renal
failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. Titrate cardiac
drips, insulin, and sedation as required. Monitor vital signs and
document patient progress using the EPIC charting system. Float to
PCU and occasionally MedSurg, maintaining typical patient ratios.
Perform on-site trouble-shooting for RT equipment such as vents,
CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices. Requirements: Valid RN license
and driver's license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. BSN
required. Pass a skills exam with at least 90% during orientation.
Compliance with fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails. 5
