Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), PCU City/State: Kearney, Nebraska Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12.00-3,140 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will be responsible for providing nursing care to a patient population that includes adults with cardiac, renal, and respiratory conditions, among other diagnoses. The nurse will be required to manage arterial lines, titrate drips, and interpret telemetry readings. Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on best practice standards. Titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin. Interpret telemetry strips and manage high flow respiratory devices. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the highest quality patient care. Adapt to diverse cultural populations including primarily Hispanic and Somalian communities. Requirements: Active RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Competency in managing arterial lines and titrating medications. Ability to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during contract period.
