ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU -
Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care
Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type:
Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night
shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM • Every other weekend requirement •
Minimum of 2 holidays required during contract timeframe • 33-bed
ICU with average daily census of 16 patients • Nurse-to-patient
ratio of 1:2-3 for adults • Care for trauma, cardiac,
overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement,
stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and
respiratory distress patients • Required to titrate drips including
cardiac medications, insulin, and sedation • Manage patients
ranging from nasal cannula to ventilator support • Required to
read, interpret, and document telemetry strips using GE monitoring
system • Float to PCU or occasionally MedSurg with ratios of 1:4 or
1:5 • One shift of unit-specific orientation provided • Chart in
EPIC system • Must pass open book exam on Wednesdays during
orientation with 90% minimum score • Required certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS • Driver's license required at submittal • Must be
located outside 50-mile radius from facility • Artificial nails
prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination •
Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility:
This acute care hospital features a Level 2 trauma center with a
comprehensive 33-bed ICU providing critical care services to the
community. The facility utilizes advanced monitoring technology and
EPIC charting systems while maintaining specialized support staff
including respiratory therapists and healthcare support
technicians. The organization is part of a larger healthcare

equipment and evidence-based protocols. Location: Kearney, NE
