No Call • No Weekends • Excellent Benefits Package Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgery Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. This full-time role includes providing high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the pre-operative, intraoperative, and recovery phases. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no call, no weekends , and a competitive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Perform comprehensive admission assessments and medication reconciliation Prepare and coordinate surgical procedures with department leadership Provide pre-op and post-op care, including recovery room responsibilities Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN) 1 year of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred EHR experience preferred Licensure & Certifications Current RN license in the State of Nebraska BLS (CPR) – Required ACLS – Required within 1 year of hire PALS – Required within 1 year of hire AORN Perioperative 101 – Required within 2 years TNCC & NRP only required if working in the Emergency Department Valid Driver’s License Work Environment Hospital-based surgical department Moderate noise environment typical of OR, inpatient, and emergency settings Fast-paced setting requiring attention to detail and teamwork Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
