shift/month | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pay Range: $29.81 –
$49.69/hr ? No Call Required Summary We are seeking an experienced
Per Diem Surgery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate,
patient-centered care in a surgical environment. This role supports
patients through pre-operative assessment, intraoperative care, and
post-anesthesia recovery. You will collaborate closely with
surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary staff to
ensure high-quality outcomes. This is a flexible per diem position
requiring one shift per month , with no on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care based on the
nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Perform comprehensive pre-op assessments, including medication
reconciliation Coordinate surgical procedures and scheduling with
department leadership Assist surgeons and physicians during
operative procedures Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree
in Nursing from an accredited program 1 year of experience in a
surgical setting preferred Experience with Electronic Health
Records (EHR) preferred Licensure & Certifications Current RN
license in the State of Nebraska BLS (CPR) – Required ACLS –
Required within 1 year of employment PALS – Required within 1 year
of employment AORN Perioperative 101 – Required within 2 years of
employment TNCC & NRP required only if working in the Emergency
Department Valid Driver’s License Work Environment Hospital-based
surgical department Moderate noise level Requires professionalism,
teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines Company Description
