Hourly wage ranges from $25.74 to $42.03, based on prior work
experience. Responsibilities Assessment and Reassessment: Conduct
thorough evaluations of individuals' healthcare needs, tailored to
specific age groups and medical conditions. Engage patients,
families, and relevant healthcare professionals as necessary.
Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes: Analyze assessments to establish
nursing diagnoses and anticipated outcomes, involving patients,
families, and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
Implementation and Coordination of Care: Deliver nursing care
through targeted interventions aimed at meeting goals and needs,
utilizing professional judgment in accordance with current
standards, regulations, and policies. Evaluation and Discharge:
Assess patient outcomes by applying critical thinking and
evidence-based knowledge to identify issues, evaluate information,
and draw informed conclusions. Professional Practice: Foster a
collaborative working relationship with physicians to ensure
high-quality patient care. Assist in maintaining essential logs,
including those for patient medications and emergency equipment.
QualificationsEducation A diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing
(ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred. Experience Prior
experience in the healthcare sector is preferred. (The above
qualifications may also be satisfied through a combination of
education and experience.) Licensure/Certification/Registration
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma. Basic
Life Support (BLS) training is mandatory during orientation before
engaging in patient care. Current BLS certification must be
maintained through ongoing retraining throughout employment.
Additional Qualifications Proficiency in IV insertion is required.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities New graduates are required
to complete the organization's Nurse Residency Program.
