and Benefits Hourly wage ranges from $27 to $45.46, depending on
prior experience. Evening shift differential of $2.50 per hour.
Night shift differential of $3.00 per hour. Weekend shift
differential of $3.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits package

Medical/Surgical Observation Unit is a dynamic 24-bed telemetry and
medical-surgical facility. Common conditions treated in our unit
include chest pain, syncope, congestive heart failure, pneumonia,
and diabetes. The nurse-to-patient ratio typically ranges from 4 to
6 patients, depending on the level of acuity. Our care team
consists of a charge nurse and unit assistants, with additional
support from respiratory, laboratory, and case management
departments. We provide a comprehensive 6-8 week orientation
program for new nurses, featuring a dedicated preceptor team,
classroom instruction, and a nurse residency program for recent

Responsibilities Job Summary The essential functions of the
Registered Nurse (RN) include, but are not limited to: Assessment
and Reassessment - Conducts systematic evaluations of the
healthcare needs of patients, tailored to specific age groups and
conditions, involving patients, families, and other healthcare
professionals as necessary. Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes -
Analyzes assessments to establish nursing diagnoses and anticipated
outcomes, engaging patients, families, and other healthcare
providers as appropriate. Implementation and Coordination of Care -
Delivers nursing care through interventions aimed at achieving
patient goals and needs, utilizing professional judgment informed
by current evidence-based practices, regulations, and policies.
Evaluation - Assesses patient outcomes using critical thinking and
evidence-based knowledge to identify issues, evaluate facts, and
draw informed conclusions. Evaluates discharge requirements in
relation to the care plan, utilizing available resources as needed.
Professional Practice - Engages in ongoing professional development
and practice. Qualifications Education A diploma or Associate’s
degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing (BSN) or a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) is
preferred. Experience Prior experience in a hospital setting is
advantageous. (The above qualifications may also be satisfied
through a combination of education and experience.) Licensure and
Certification A current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma is
required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining must be
completed during orientation before providing patient care. Current
BLS certification must be maintained through ongoing retraining
throughout employment. New graduates are required to participate in
the Nurse Residency Program.
