ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM • Every other weekend requirement • First to float to PCU for MSU assignment unless telemetry trained • Work on 23-bed medical surgical unit • Patient ratios: Maximum 1:6 on nights (dayshift M-F are 1:5) • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS • Holiday requirements apply (usually May-September and November-January) - cannot request more than 1 holiday off during contract • Possibility of 2 additional required overtime shifts per 6 weeks • Charting system: EPIC • BSN not required • Trauma Level 3 facility • Acute care setting • Client may give 2-week notice and call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a regional medical center providing comprehensive acute care services to the community.
