Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. • 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health • 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Required Skills/Experience: • RNs are required to read/interpret/document strips • Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates. Required Credentials: • RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Wednesdays during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. • Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Special Requests: • Block Scheduling: Will not approve unless it’s weekends only, will need to ask. • They also will not take duos that want same schedule or share car. • Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Requirements: Every other • Holiday requirements: minimum of 2 holidays that fall within contract time frame. Floating Requirements: Typically PCU, occasionally MedSurg- will take same ratio of patients typically assigned on these units (1:4 or 1:5) 8 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
