Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS (NRP and PALS preferred) Must-Have: Must be able to perform EKGs and bedside bronchoscopy Description: Unit serves adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Covers inpatient settings. Experience with specific equipment is required: - Vents: Drager, Philips V200 - BiPAPs: Vision, V60, V30 - High Flow: Airvo2 Shifts are scheduled from 6 PM to 6 AM with team scheduling. Weekend requirements include days every third weekend and nights every other weekend. Holiday requirements involve rotating with permanent staff. Floating within the hospital is expected. Three 12-hour shifts of unit-specific orientation are provided. Requests for time off need to be submitted upfront (7 days or fewer per 13-week contract). Additional requests for time off will not be approved after submissions. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Trauma Level: Acute settings. Division: Allied Health. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
