Job Description: As a Cardiovascular Sonographer at our
healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic
imaging team. You will be responsible for performing high-quality
echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations on patients to
aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
Your role will involve collaborating with physicians and other
healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities: Perform echocardiograms, including 2D,
M-mode, Doppler, and color flow studies, to evaluate cardiac
function and structure. Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations,
including carotid, arterial, and venous studies, to assess blood
flow and detect abnormalities. Prepare patients for procedures,
explain the process, and address their concerns and questions.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image
quality and patient safety. Analyze and interpret ultrasound images
and data to provide accurate diagnostic information. Collaborate
closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss
findings and assist in treatment planning. Maintain accurate and
detailed patient records, including images and reports. Ensure
compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards. Stay
updated on the latest developments and advancements in
cardiovascular sonography. Participate in continuing education and
training to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical
Sonography or a related field. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac
Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
certification preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification. Proficient in performing echocardiograms and
vascular ultrasound examinations. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a collaborative healthcare team. Attention to detail and a
commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Willingness to
