In this role, you will develop and nurture relationships, and enhance our scientific credibility with established and emerging external experts (EEs). Our MSLs respond to requests by providing key scientific/medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders. This position will be based in Ontario, with the territory to be defined, and may involve other provinces.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scientific knowledge to credibly disseminate information to external experts (EEs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs), fostering professional relationships.
  • Participate in and follow up on investigator-initiated studies (IIS), clinical studies, and medical projects within the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centers.
  • Deliver credible scientific presentations to HCPs, both individually and in groups.
  • Assist in selecting qualified HCPs for collaborative efforts such as research, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums, ensuring high scientific and educational integrity.
  • Attend scientific meetings and conferences, and develop summaries of key data presented.QualificationsEducation/Experience Required:
    • Doctorate, PharmD, or MD preferred. MSc in a related scientific discipline with medical affairs experience will also be considered.
      • Relevant industry experience with solid biotech/pharmaceutical knowledge.
      • Previous MSL experience preferred.
      • Background in neurology or psychiatry is an asset.
      • Experience in customer-facing healthcare roles.
      • Proficiency in interpreting scientific or clinical research publications.
        • Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulatory controls.
        • Strong interest in developing expertise in the assigned therapeutic area and medical research.Essential Skills & Abilities:
          • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
          • Comfort with technology and various tools/systems.
          • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
          • Valid driver's license and passport.Key In-Field Team (IFT) Competencies:

            • Coordinating scientific/medical engagement efforts within accounts.
            • Applying data-driven strategies to exceed business goals.
