- Med/Surg RN (Ortho and Peds experience preferred) are needed
for a 13-week assignment at a Hospital located in Central Nebraska.
This is one of the most popular states to travel in with lots of
things to do and beautiful scenery. This position won't be open

- Med/Surg RN with Ortho and Peds experience preferred.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700. Try to accommodate
preferences as much as possible; Weekend Requirement: Every other;
Holiday Requirement: If needed.
- Unit Specific Information
- Floating Requirements: Will float to Inpatient Rehab unit,
Skilled Nursing unit as well as our Progressive Care Unit, taking
MS appropriate assignments. Staff may float to other departments to
task/help and not assume a patient assignment depending on
department/organization needs. How many shifts of unit/department
specific orientation?: First week in classroom then 2-12 hour
shifts on the floor.

- # of Beds: 29, Ratios: 1:5-6, Common diagnoses/Types of
patients: Joint replacements, neuro-surgicals, GI surgicals,
oncology, patients not requiring a higher level of care; Are there
nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios?: Yes- 1:10; Are
RNs required to read their own strips? Yes, must be able to read
basic rhythms; Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Navy Blue;
Faced paced unit with a fluctuating census. Unit is focused on
hourly rounding, bedside shift report, nurse communication, and
team nursing. Looking for team members who are team players,
positive, flexible, willing to learn/adapt, and are
dependable.
