• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
  • Job Details
  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of unit experience.
    • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
    • RNs required to titrate drips.
    • RNs must read and interpret tele/monitor strips.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts.
      • 36 hours guaranteed.
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
      • Every third weekend.
      • Rotating holiday requirements.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • A team player, flexible and adaptable, and have good communication skills are key traits for success on this unit.
        • Different cultural populations are served on this unit- primarily Hispanic and Somalian.
        • RNs required to do anything with RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) besides trouble shoot? High flow.
        • Scrub Color/Dress code: Navy Blue.
        • One week of unit/department specific orientation.
          • Additional Details
          • WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE/SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED.
          • Looking for someone who is flexible and willing to learn as well as take feedback along the way.
