Overview
CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island, Nebraska in 1887. Today our hospital is a regional referral center with more than 100 physicians and more than 1100 employees working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community. Th e Medical Surgical Orthopedics and Pediatrics floor at St. Francis is a 29-bed unit dedicated to caring for a wide variety of medical surgical patients including but not limited to orthopedic, neurosurgical, gastrointestinal, and oncology. We have an interdisciplinary team that strives to provide safe and exceptional care to our patients . Compensation : Base rate + shift differential Incentives: $15,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years) Nurse Residency offered for all New Graduates
Responsibilities

  • Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
  • Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
  • Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
    • Active RN license in state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.
    • Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart Association
      Pay Range
      $28.75 - $41.68 /hour
