Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Location : Grand Island, NE, Lincoln, NE Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday Travel: overnight travel required, approximately 50% Responsibilities: Reads and interprets schematic diagrams, product specifications, installation, and start-up procedures. Selects materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs. Operates tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task. Completes assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines. Maintains a clean work area. Organizes/ stores tools and material to minimize damage to materials and risk of injury. Protects the property of the company and customer by all reasonable means. Monitor and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory. Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required. Install, program, and test new equipment. Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Present yourself professionally and be prompt when making service calls. Education and Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician License: 1 year Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Basic electrical knowledge and electronic/mechanical abilities preferred Experience with petroleum equipment preferred Sound integrity and professional ethics Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and employees Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete projects on time Why MPE?
