are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance
Supervisor to join our team in the fast-paced Energy industry. The
chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth
operation of our manufacturing plant, with a particular focus on
the production of ethanol. This is a full-time, permanent position
that requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience. If
you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and
a knack for leadership, this might be the perfect opportunity for
you. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the
maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is in optimal
working condition. Develop and implement preventative maintenance
programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan. Coordinate with
the production team to schedule maintenance activities that
minimize production downtime. Supervise and mentor maintenance
staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Liaise with vendors and contractors to procure necessary equipment
and parts. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental
regulations. Analyze equipment failures and breakdowns to identify
root causes and implement corrective actions. Manage maintenance
budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Stay updated with the
latest advancements in manufacturing technology and incorporate
them into our operations where feasible. Participate in the
planning and execution of major plant projects, such as equipment
upgrades and facility expansions. Qualifications: Associate's
degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering. Minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance
supervisory role in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience
in the production of ethanol is a must. Strong knowledge of
manufacturing equipment, systems, and procedures. Excellent
leadership and team management skills. Ability to troubleshoot
complex equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the
energy industry. Proficient in the use of maintenance management
software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
