A BSN is required, MSN preferred. A valid, non encumbered Registered Nurse License. Must have 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience. Previous teaching/educational experience is preferred.

General Summary

Full time advanced medical surgical nursing instructor to teach practical and associate degree nursing students primarily on the Kearney Center. Must have ability to demonstrate and apply effective communication skills. Faculty expectations include but not limited to, writing curriculum, facilitation of student learning experiences, advising and participating in college committees. A Bachelor's Degree of Nursing is required, a Masters in Nursing with emphasis in nursing education is preferred. Candidates with a BSN will need to enroll into a MSN program within 1 year of hire with expectation to graduate in 5 years.

Innovation and Instructional Administrative CoordinatorAdministrative OfficeClosing Date: January 20

Requires expertise in office procedures, data entry and interpretation, report writing, complex communication skills, and the ability to work with accuracy at a fast pace. In addition, requires expertise in Microsoft Office suite, database entry and reporting, calendar management, and ability to learn and effectively use specialized software. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to gather and exchange information with internal and external stakeholders. Must be self motivated, and demonstrate strong time management. Must enjoy working in a complex and changing educational environment that supports education in Central Nebraska.

General Summary

Performs administrative and reporting support necessary for the operation of the Vice President of Innovation and Instruction and Presidents Office requiring independent judgment, confidentiality, and decision making based on broad general guidelines. Assists with planning, developing, and coordinating ongoing and special projects, and produces related materials and reports associated with activities in the offices. Performs other duties as assigned.

GED Instructor (Part - Time)Columbus

Bachelor's Degree required with at least 1 year of experience preferred. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Requires excellent communication and problem solving skills as well as genuine interest in adult learners. Formal teaching experience not required but helpful. Must be proficient in reading, writing, math and English grammar at the high school level. Computer proficiency is essential.

General Summary

Individual will teach adults 16 years and older in GED® Preparation, including Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, Science and computer skills. Math classes are held on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and Reading classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Columbus Family Resource Center in Columbus. Individual will perform new student intake, administer placement tests, develop study plans and instruct students.

May be required to work in various weather conditions.

General Summary

This is a year-round, part-time position that workdays and/or evenings during school year and summer months (we offer flexible hours). Will assist with all facets of the College Campus custodial work, including: cleaning, floor stripping/waxing, carpet cleaning, table/chair set ups and snow removal operations. And other duties assigned by the Facilities Management.

General Summary

Instruction of Mathematics and Physics that include: Applied Calculus, Occupational Math, Elementary/Intermediate/College Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, and Pre-Engineering courses. The instructor will collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean and, as appropriate, the program director in order to assist students in accessing, learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities for a diverse student population, as assigned. Furthermore, Instructor will professionally represent the college, its role and mission, including recruiting. . Applicants must have verifiable supervisory/managerial experience for a moderately sized staff (up to 30 employees). The successful candidate will also need to be very motivated, detail oriented, and able to balance multiple projects while utilizing appropriate prioritizing skills. Ideally the applicant will be mechanically inclined with experience/knowledge with knowledge in the plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and electrical fields. General Summary

Will assist the Facility Director with all facets of the College Campus maintenance, grounds and custodial departments functions. The ability to coordinate multiple projects scheduling, ability to focus on PM's, collaborate with colleagues and outside vendors/contractors, and complete support staff's bi-weekly work time approvals and annual evaluations. This position is responsible to supervising up to the 30 support staff and requires 24/7 on-call emergency communication occasionally. And other duties assigned by the Facilities Management.

General Summary

This position is often the first point of contact for visitors and the ideal candidate will be customer service focused. In addition, this position requires experience working with Microsoft office suite, data entry, organization and analytical skills. An Associate's degree in business of educational field with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Associate Dean of Instruction - NursingGrand IslandClosing Date: January 20

1. Knowledge about curriculum, instruction, administration and educational programming is necessary in order to understand instructional methods, curriculum development, etc.

2. Minimum of a Master's degree with a major in Nursing, licensure or eligible for licensure in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse, administrative experience in collegiate setting and experience as a nursing instructor in an academic setting.

3. An understanding of professional nursing practices and nurse education normally acquired through five years experience as a practicing nurse of instructor in a nurse education program.

4. Analytical ability needed to collect, compile and report statistical information, determine staffing levels, develop and implement budget, plan and implement accreditation studies, etc.

5. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills are needed to make presentations, negotiate instructional activities, resolve conflict with students, faculty and staff.

General Summary

The Associate Dean of Instruction has coordinating and supervisory responsibilities for the Nursing Programs at the Grand Island and Columbus Campuses and the Kearney Center. A Master's degree in Nursing is required with emphasis in nursing education. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean of Health Sciences Division.
